The Mackinac Bands of Chippewa and Ottawa Indians are Anishinaabe people that have existed and thrived for thousands of years in the Great Lakes area now known as Michigan. The Mackinac Bands is one of the oldest and largest historical groups of Odawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi people in Michigan.

Lap Blanket Drawing!  A member has generously donated 10 lap blankets!  These blankets will be given to Elder Members of the Tribe.  We will do a drawing for the blankets on January 10, 2024.  To enter into the drawing, send request to Information@mackinacband.com  To be eligible, you must be an enrolled member and Elder status (over 55).  (One entry per household)
